Born in Baghdad and raised between Iraq and Iraqi Kurdistan, I’m a street photographer drawn to the rhythm and raw honesty of everyday life. Balanced in both movement and stillness, my lens often seeks out fleeting moments - those that pass unnoticed.
Through photography, I try to reflect how people shape, and are shaped by, their spaces. I aim to share stories and cultures often overlooked, believing that raw, unfiltered moments can offer the kind of knowledge we rarely find in headlines or textbooks. Photography, to me, is a way of learning about the world by closely seeing it.
While street photography is my main focus, I also explore other genres including portrait, landscape, and product photography, each offering a different way to observe and connect with the world.
Beyond photography, my background is rooted in advocacy and communications. I've spent years working with communities across Iraq, using creative tools to amplify underrepresented voices. These experiences continue to shape how I see the world and what I choose to frame within it.
I’m also exploring other creative outlets like creating collages and narrative writing, soon to be shared through my Substack.
Whether you’re looking to tell a story, document a place, or create something visually honest, I’m always open to meaningful projects.
Let’s connect.
